FAQ’s

Who makes up the team and how they work with you

Professional profiles, team structure, and communication throughout the project.

For every CREACTIVITAT project, a dedicated, named team is assigned from day one: a project manager who serves as your sole point of contact, a designer specializing in user experience, and a web developer. Depending on your needs, we may bring in specialists in SEO, content, or artificial intelligence. We don’t operate on a “we assign based on availability” basis: before you sign, you’ll know by name who will be managing your website and what expertise they bring to the table.

CREACTIVITAT’s team of designers and web developers is in-house and based in Barcelona. Design, development, SEO, and digital marketing are all handled internally, which allows us to maintain consistency and keep deadlines under control. We only turn to external collaborators for very specific and one-off tasks (such as audiovisual production or product photography), always coordinated by the project manager and with the client’s prior knowledge.

You’ll have a single point of contact throughout the entire project: the project manager. They’ll answer your questions, coordinate the design and development teams, keep you informed of milestones, and gather your feedback. This avoids the common problem of having to repeat yourself to three different people or not knowing who to contact when an issue arises.

Each team member deliberately works on a limited number of projects at a time. This is the only way to ensure that your website makes progress every week and doesn’t get stuck waiting for its turn. If at any point the schedule is full, we’ll let you know before starting and propose a realistic start date, rather than accepting the project and dragging it out.

The team covers four areas: graphic and interface design (visual identity, UX/UI), web development (custom development and WordPress), search engine optimization (technical SEO, local SEO, and GEO for AI search engines), and digital marketing and content (strategy, social media, analytics). Bringing all four areas together under one roof is what allows a website to be built with search engine optimization in mind from the start, eliminating the need to redo it later.

Yes. Before finalizing any proposal, we hold a meeting, either in person at our Barcelona office or via video call, with the people who will be leading the project. This is a best practice recommended by industry guidelines and helps avoid surprises: the team introduced to you during the sales meeting should be the same one that ultimately carries out the work.

Experience and expertise

The team’s track record, ongoing training, and areas of expertise.

CREACTIVITAT has been working on digital projects since 1998, with nearly 30 years of experience in web design and development in Barcelona. That continuity matters for a practical reason: we’ve guided clients through several generations of technology (from static HTML to WordPress, from mobile to local SEO, and now to AI-powered search engines), and that gives us the insight to distinguish which trends are worth pursuing and which aren’t.

Search engine optimization is handled by the agency’s team of SEO specialists, who are part of the same team that designs and develops the website. They handle technical SEO, local SEO for Barcelona-based businesses, and GEO (optimization for generative search engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity). Having them as part of the team—rather than as an external group—is what allows the website’s architecture and content to be planned from day one with search engine ranking in mind.

Yes, and it’s one of the areas where we’ve invested the most recently. The team works with AI tools applied to process automation, content generation and analysis, and optimization for generative search engines. Industry data supports this: while searches for traditional terms (“web design,” “SEO”) are declining in Spain, those related to artificial intelligence applied to businesses are skyrocketing.

The team is based in Barcelona, but works with clients throughout Catalonia, the rest of Spain, and internationally. The agency typically communicates in Catalan, Spanish, English, French, and Italian. For projects outside Barcelona, the process is the same, with meetings held via video call and the same point of contact.

Yes, CREACTIVITAT is a Digitalization Agent participating in the Kit Digital program through Red.es. This means we can manage subsidized solutions for websites and online presence, e-commerce, social media management, and basic search engine optimization, and assist with the application process for the grant.

How we organize our work with you

Continuity, guarantees, and day-to-day operations.

All project documentation (access credentials, decisions, structure, code, and content) is stored on the agency’s systems, not on any one person’s computer. If there’s a change in the team, another team member can take over the project without you having to explain your business from scratch. This is one of the practical advantages of working with a structured agency rather than an individual freelancer.

The difference lies in the scope of services and continuity. A freelancer typically specializes in a single discipline; here, design, programming, SEO, and marketing all work together, so the website is approached in an integrated way and there’s no need to coordinate multiple vendors. There’s also continuity: vacations, sick leave, or busy periods won’t bring the project to a standstill. For very small, single-discipline projects, a good freelancer may be sufficient—and that’s certainly true.

Just ask us directly, and we’ll show you published, live projects from that industry or from a company of a similar size, complete with the URLs so you can check them out for yourself. This is the standard recommendation in agency hiring guides, and it makes sense: a portfolio you can’t verify proves nothing.

We work with milestones and review meetings agreed upon at the start, so you know when you’ll see progress and what’s expected of you at every stage. Between milestones, the project manager is available by email or phone. We’re committed to ensuring that weeks never go by without you knowing where your website stands.
