The challenge of how to increase the cross-selling ratio in the distribution channel was proposed by the FoodService Cluster and the Digital Cluster of Catalonia. Manufacturers have no ability to influence the final point of sale, since when their product leaves the factory it goes to a distributor who usually does not perform commercial tasks.

CREACTIVITAT proposed inserting NFC tags in the packanging of the product sent to the distribution channel. The NFC tags were linked to a WebAPP that processed cooked data (Big Data).

The companies included in this pilot project of innovation in digital marketing, subsidized by ACCIÓ – Generalitat de Catalunya were AUDENS, CARNS ROMEU and FRIT RAVICH.
