PACT FOR DESIGN '21

The design isn’t just shape and color. Since CREACTIVITAT, as an agency member of the CATALUNYA DIY CLASTER, we have always been interested in systemic web design as a catalyst for Barcelona’s innovation processes. We professionals who work with design have the capacity to provide cross-cutting solutions and adapt them to the current context to face challenges for the future: sustainability, equality and social inclusion. Last April, with its support from the Spanish Network of Design Partnerships, the COVENANT FOR DIDIDIUM was established to enhance the economic, social and environmental transformation of our society through the systemic use of Design. The initiative aims to be a strategic tool for innovation and competitiveness of businesses amidst this economic, social and health crisis as we are living through. As a Barcelona’s web, graphic and technological design company, CREACTIVITAT has been committed to the pact as an entity and thus supports its three strategic objectives: To enhance the impact of Design as a tool for innovation and competitiveness in the economic, training, public sector and society at large. To strongly articulate the collaboration of the creative sectors and the corporate fabric, so that it incorporates the Design as a strategic vector of its innovative activity. To create an organizational structure that emerges from its own ecosystem, to lead and advise all administrations that can develop concrete policies to promote design. The objectives will be structured into five areas of today’s production ecosystem: enterprise, public sector, education, social and microand SMEs in the Design sector. The “No Law Proponency for the Development of a National Design Strategy” was submitted as far back as 2018 with a consensus from all political groups but currently remains outstanding. With this new initiative, the entities that have been committed we wish to highlight the tangible value of Design within the new intangible economy. The concept of an intangible economy was changing the economic patterns of Governments, building on those intangible assets and thus opposition to the idea of an economy based only on tangible goods. The explosion of the digital society has been accelerating consideration of the intangibility of resources: ideas and knowledge about activities, skills, knowledge-how and expertise accumulated, patents, brands, development and knowledge methodology, databases, technologies to improve processes and, otherwise, design. How does IBEX35 value knowledge? Should we be able to put up a credit with a good design? How much are the ideas worth? Questions that at this stage should have clear answers from policies and administrative managers. The entire CREACTIVITAT team aims at hybridizing between design and technology and after many years of experience, they are definitely our perfect partner. That’s why we launch initiatives such as that of ZINK.CAT, to create a methodology that will allow designers and marketing managers to integrate technologies natively throughout the creation process. We will continue to design until the Design is recognized as what it is: the best principle of any story.

About the blog and its content

Topics, editorial standards and publishing frequency.

The blog is organised into four areas: web design and development, search visibility (SEO, local SEO and GEO), artificial intelligence applied to business, and digital marketing and content. The current priority is AI for business, because that is where search demand is growing fastest: searches related to AI automation have multiplied twentyfold in Spain over the past year, while the sector’s classic vocabulary is falling.

We publish on a regular schedule, prioritising depth over volume. We would rather publish one well-researched article a month, with our own perspective and real examples, than four superficial ones. Content on fast-moving technical topics (AI, Google algorithm changes) is reviewed and updated periodically rather than left to age.

Articles are written and signed by the Creactivitat team. AI tools are used as support for specific tasks — research, data analysis, proofreading — but the judgement, the experience from real projects and the conclusions come from the team. This distinction matters: Google rewards demonstrable experience (E-E-A-T), and readers quickly spot mass-generated content with no real thinking behind it.

Every article shows its publication date and, where it has been revised, the date it was last updated. In a sector where the rules change every few months — especially anything involving AI search engines — an undated article is a warning sign. If you spot something out of date, let us know and we will review it.

Yes. Many articles come from real questions raised by clients or readers. You can send us your suggestion through the contact page. If the question is specific and comes up often, it will likely become an article or a Help Centre entry.

How to use the blog

Navigation, subscribing and reusing content.

The blog is organised by topic categories, not just by date, so you can go straight to the area you need: web design, search visibility, artificial intelligence or digital marketing. If you are looking for a quick, practical answer, the Creactivitat Help Centre is usually faster, because it is structured as questions and answers.

The Help Centre answers specific questions briefly and directly (what SEO is, how a web project works, what GEO is). The blog develops topics in depth: analysis, real cases, industry shifts and informed opinion. If you want a quick answer, go to the Help Centre; if you want to understand a topic thoroughly, go to the blog.

Yes, you may quote and link to our articles as long as you credit the source and link to the original. What is not permitted is reproducing full content on another website without authorisation. If you would like to reuse content for a professional or educational publication, get in touch and we will discuss it.

You can follow new publications through the agency’s social channels and the updates announced on the website itself. If you would like to be notified about new content, let us know through the contact page.

The Creactivitat website works in Catalan, Spanish and English. Core content is available in all three languages; some highly specific articles may be published in one language first and translated later. The agency regularly works in Catalan, Spanish, English, French and Italian.
