Will the DWeb be the final paradigm that will suit the future of web design and programming? The decentralised web, also known as DWeb or Distributed Web, is the great bet of Internet gurus so users can control the commercial use that great technologies make of their data. We&#8217;ll tell you all his secrets.<\/p>\n<p>CONTENTS<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s DWEB? WHY IS A NEW FUTURE DIY FROM WEB CONCEPT? What are DIFFERENCES IN DWEB FUNCTIONING? Do you have to put up with this new WEB tidal? What&#8217;s the DWEB&#8217;s place? CONCLUSION<\/p>\n<h2>Context and origin of DWEB<\/h2>\n<p>&#8220;The web,&#8221; as we know it today, was born in 1989 as a network of researchers and academics who used it to share information quickly and exchange data directly with their computers. The &#8220;Web 2.0&#8221; arrives in 2000 at a time at which great technological companies such as Google, Facebook and Microsoft come and offer intermittent user connection services. The Internet boom&#8217;s coming. On July 31, 2018, more than 800 Red theorists met in San Francisco, including its creator Tim Berners- Lee, to give an alternative way out of the monopoly of technologies and to sketch a future for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.creactivitat.com\/agencia\/diseno-web-wordpress-barcelona\/\">WEB&#8217;s concept, design and planning<\/a>. The event was called &#8220;Unfocused Web Summit,&#8221; organized by <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Internet Archive<\/a>. Today, in 2021, these companies have fully controlled all our data and related services, up to the end that put their own users at risk. The DWeb will be back at the table and up to the television series &#8220;Silicon Valley&#8221; will focus its whole comical argument on that of a startup that aims to invent a &#8220;new internet.&#8221; It&#8217;s time to get to action.<\/p>\n<h2>What&#8217;s DWEB?<\/h2>\n<p>The DWeb is as well as the web we currently know but without relying on centralised operators. Today our computers have become practically mere screens, all information and all data are in the cloud of great operators, and let&#8217;s think about FaceBook or GooglePhotos. The final goal of the DWeb is for users to gain control of their data and have the same services but in a distributed and non-centralized manner as currently occurring. The community of these users is who controls the websites, applications and all the contents that are handled on them.<\/p>\n<h2>Why does a new future of web concept design be necessary?<\/h2>\n<p>We&#8217;re currently selling with the system. A few have control of all data that are distributed online and thus the risk that they will be piracy or power exchange is clear. The DWeb is monitoring its own data and privacy assurance as management remains with its own user and information cannot be lost because someone decides that it should be so. By way of example, the Chinese government with the DWeb would be far more complicated to block access to particular websites. Currently all the platforms that store our information on the network conduct an opaque management of resources and are unaccountable to anyone and impossible to conduct an audit or monitoring.<\/p>\n<h2>What are the differences in how the web works?<\/h2>\n<p>Two great differences exist in DWeb&#8217;s web design and programming as compared with the World Wide Web. The first difference we have been talking about earlier is equal to equal connectivity, that&#8217;s to say, that a computer doesn&#8217;t only demand but also provides them. Secondly, there&#8217;s how information is stored and retrieved. We currently use HTTPS protocols to identify web information and these protocols point to content by its location. Instead DWeb protocols use links that will identify information depending on its contents: &#8220;what&#8217;s&#8221; instead of &#8220;where&#8217;s.&#8221; That approach to put content at the centre allows information to move from computer to computer, rather than search for it on a central server. That will put an end to the data monopoly.<\/p>\n<h2>Will the user experience change with this new web design?<\/h2>\n<p>The theorists say that if the change is made correctly, no change should be noted, with the exception of improved velocity during data exchange. The change that will be significant will be what we will do when we have payment services as we will pay the service directly to the supplier without intermediaries. The first positive result is that the currently completely opaque advertising system will be unable to work with new DWeb protocols. Millions of direct micropayments will be made, for instance, to listen to that music we love. We will pay directly to the artist, who will have them stored and available on his computer. Once payment has been made we will get an encrypted key that will give us access to the archives.<\/p>\n<h2>When will DWEB be available?<\/h2>\n<p>The decentralized web isn&#8217;t here yet, but applications are currently available as a result of this decentralized model. The most outstanding are the <a href=\"https:\/\/openbazaar.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">OPEN BAZAAR<\/a> market place, the Instagram type application for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.textile.io\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TEXTILE<\/a> image management, <a href=\"https:\/\/d.tube\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DTUBE<\/a> for videos or <a href=\"https:\/\/diasporafoundation.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DIASPORA<\/a> social network. There are other, nothing minor, issues that have to be resolved before final launch. How do we articulate a concept of decentralized web design while nobody&#8217;s in charge? how do we guarantee honesty and good performance of new distributors? and how do we make sure that everything isn&#8217;t re-centralised? But the main handicap is how to overthrow the current status quo of power of the great technological multinationals.<\/p>\n<h2>Conclusion<\/h2>\n<p>We have seen that the benefits of new web design are abysmal by empowering the end user but there are also some risks. The DWeb is a new and flourishing web programming technology, but it&#8217;s also something inevitable.
